MID AUTUMN CULTURAL EXCHANGE
China–Rwanda
Mid Autumn Live Exchange
Young people in China and Rwanda connected live to share Mid Autumn traditions through craft.
On 26 September 2026, EZFUN’s Mid Autumn Cultural Exchange Series connected young people in Rwanda with a festival market in Shanghai’s Century Park. Herbal scents, lacquer works and handmade sachets gave participants a shared way to explore Chinese traditions and meet one another.

Participants in Rwanda made persimmon shaped sachets, learning about the festive wishes they carry. The project also featured Jing’e Youxuan sachets made by artisans with visual impairments in China, sharing the stories behind the craft.
