EZFUN FESTIVAL WORKSHOP

Mid Autumn
Cultural Exchange

Chinese culture, mooncake making, games and crafts brought children and families together to experience Mid Autumn through participation.

26–27 September 2026A family cultural workshopMooncakes Games and Crafts

EZFUN’s Mid Autumn Cultural Exchange programme brought together Chinese culture, traditional food making, children’s games, and study tour and study abroad consultation. At the workshop tables and activity spaces, children and families learned by trying things together, turning festival traditions into experiences they could take part in.

Discovering Chinese Culture

An introduction to Chinese culture gave children and parents a starting point for exploring the festival. Gathering to listen, look and exchange ideas added context to the practical activities that followed.

Making Mooncakes

Participants prepared, shaped and pressed their own mooncakes with guidance and help from one another. Patterned moulds and trays of finished creations turned a familiar festival food into something they could learn to make themselves.

Games and Festival Crafts

Shuttlecock games and craft activities offered different ways to join in. Children tried new skills while parents worked alongside them, finishing with handmade pieces and a group photograph to remember the experience.
